Allotments (2014)
Original media: Gouache, inks, acrylics, pigment sticks, pencils, gold leaf and gold thread.
This piece was based on drawings done of the allotments near the churchyard in Haworth, West Yorkshire. The allotments are made on a steep slope, and the terraces allow for lots of pattern. I especially liked the greenhouses made out of doors, and discovered a love for painting chickens! This piece was part of the 2015 'Exhibition Water & Light' at Heart Gallery in Hebden Bridge.
Available as a signed limited edition print, hand-finished with gold leaf and gold thread. All prints are mounted and can be posted, unless purchased framed.
Finished dimensions: 75cm x 59cm
