Cruck Barn at Little Stubb

Cruck Barn at Little Stubb (2008)

Original media: Inks, gouache, acrylics, gold leaf and gold thread.

This piece was completed as a Commission for the owners of the converted Cruck barn. This nest of houses is hidden in a beautiful valley in Mytholmroyd, and I would never have found it had I not been invited to paint it. The lanscape behind the houses is the owner's favourite view. And, when sketching for the piece in autumn of 2008, the leaves were begining to turn and the meadow was newly mown.

Available as a signed limited edition print, hand-finished with gold leaf and gold thread. All prints are mounted and can be posted, unless purchased framed.

Finished dimensions: 58cm x 58cm
