A bright, cold day at Whitby Harbour during October half term. My children are crabbing near the bridge with their Granny. And a family, taking fishing a little more seriously with deckchairs and rods, are getting cross with children and gulls for being noisy and scaring away their potential dinner!
This painting was part of the 'Big Skies & Old Stones' collection for Chantry House Gallery, Ripley.
